Bi 380 - Applied Hermeneutics

An advanced study of the principles of interpretation with the goal of helping students move from the text of the Bible to its application and presentation. This course will give students the ability to rightly interpret the various genres of Scripture, with particular focus on letter, poetry, narrative, and the Gospels. Students will receive in-depth, hands-on training in preparing written sermons or lessons from these genres. This course is open for both men and women. Three hours.
