Testimonials
My journey began at BJU a number of years ago, but extenuating circumstances prevented me from completing requirements for a bachelor’s degree. Fast forward to 2019 with almost grown children and a full-time career that requires a bachelor’s degree for advancement. I started down the path to a degree in Professional Studies.
The corporation for which I work paid for most credits, and the flexibility of classwork being fully online allowed me to continue working full time and take care of my family.
Having classes that are taught from a biblical worldview was beneficial. Having professors dedicated to a student’s growth both academically and spiritually is priceless. SCOPE has helped me achieve a degree that not only promoted practical application in my career but also equipped me in furthering the Gospel.

I wanted a program that would incorporate the study of God’s Word, and BJU did so seamlessly. Every one of my classes contained an aspect of biblical worldview and Christian perspective. We were not spoon-fed God’s Word or forced to see things a certain way but were challenged to dig into the Bible and defend our views with scripture.
My experience with the RN to BSN program was nothing but positive. I came through with not only what I needed scholastically for career growth, but I also grew in my knowledge of Scripture and learned how to stand up for truth in today’s society.

After teaching for 7 years, I finally began pursuing my graduate degree in education. I was not opposed to taking classes on campus, but having the opportunity to take all of my courses online was an incredible blessing.
I currently teach math and science in a Christian school on the island of Guam. Taking online courses during the summers allowed me the ease and flexibility of traveling to see family and friends in the States.

Without a doubt, the training I received and the skills I developed in my graduate studies uniquely prepared me for a career that I still enjoy today—running a large commercial music studio in beautiful Upstate South Carolina.
I am eternally grateful for the BJU faculty members who impacted my life so profoundly—not just academically, but also spiritually.
