Tec 101 - Digital Literacy

An introductory course designed to help the student develop key computational skills for professional life. Topics include tools for basic management of digital files, internet research and online safety, exposure to intermediate skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software, and foundational data related skills (including evaluation of the quality of data, development of data summaries, and communication of data for effective decision-making). Lecture and lab. Excludes: Tec 201. Three hours.
