FAQs

How fast can I complete the degree?

You can complete the MPH degree in 4 semesters (we offer courses year-round in the fall, spring, and summer).

How much will the degree cost?

The cost is $575 per credit hour and our program is 42 hours, with a total tuition cost of $24,150.

Is there a price difference per credit hour for full-time or part-time students?

Unlike most MPH programs, there is no difference in tuition costs for part-time or full-time students. The price per credit hour is the same regardless of enrollment type.

Will my professors be adjuncts?

No, your professors are full-time faculty at Bob Jones University, and we also serve as your advisors and mentors.

Is your program CEPH accredited?

Bob Jones University is an applicant for accreditation by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH).  The accreditation review will address the MPH in community health, as well as a BS/MPH joint degree.  Other degrees and areas of study offered by this institution will not be included in the unit of accreditation review.

Both CEPH-accredited and CEPH-applicant programs meet the eligibility requirements for students to sit for the Certified Public Health (CPH) exam after graduation.  The date of initial accreditation will be whichever of the two dates occurs later: either 1) the date on which our application was accepted by the Council [July 29, 2024] or 2) the date on which the most recent extension of applicant status was granted, if applicable. The Council assigns the date of initial accreditation during the Council meeting at which the accreditation decision is made. Entry into the process and acceptance of an application are not a guarantee of initial accreditation.
