Global Health
A consideration of health issues on an international level focusing on an understanding of the key concepts of global health. Health issues will be evaluated on the basis of historical, social, economic, environmental and political factors that affect health worldwide. Topics include malnutrition, maternal-child health in vulnerable populations, the spread of infectious diseases, pandemics, disease prevention, poverty, globalization, workforce conditions and distribution of health resources. Three hours.
