Colonel George Youstra

Ethical decision-making is a skill learned and refined over life's experiences. Chaplain Colonel George Youstra was no exception. He never planned to serve in the military, but God directed his steps to join the army reserves to cover extra expenses while teaching in a small Christian school. Unbeknownst to him, God used this catalyst as the start of a storied military career, beginning as a Green Beret, then Air Force chaplain, ethical advisor the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, and retiring as an ethics trainer for the U.S. special forces. George is a teacher at heart. He brings real-life business and military examples to help leaders and their teams learn the critical skill of making the right decisions in the midst of challenging ethical dilemmas.

Bob Jones University offers education programs designed for post-traditional students, who desire to complete a degree or participate in certificate programs that enhance employment skills. SCOPE students include those in high school looking to get a head start and students 25 or older looking to advance established careers. Online courses include degree completion programs, professional master's degrees and a graduate certificate program. Credit and non-credit certificate and professional development programs are also available.
